At present, the rapid digital development of public administration, as well as the active democratization of society, the issue of information interaction between the authorities and business structures, non-profit organizations and the population is receiving increased attention from science and practice. The trends of active involvement of Internet resources, databases, information technologies in the process of information interaction between the authorities and society show the need to assess the effectiveness of this interaction. In this regard, the question of how modern public administration system is able to meet the needs of official information from the actual and potential users, taking into account not only the volume of information, but also the satisfaction with the quality of this information, the level of confidence in it and other aspects of evaluation becomes relevant. Thus, the purpose of this study is to develop a model for assessing information interaction between the authorities and business entities in the region, which can vary situationally depending on the objects of public administration, which is ensured by the flexibility of the model while maintaining its conceptual structure. The possibilities of the model are shown on the example of information interaction of authorities and business in the assessment of the competitive environment on the goods and services markets in the Republic of Komi. The initial information for the study is based on the information-analytical report on the state and development of the competitive environment on the goods and services markets in the Republic of Komi in 2020, prepared by the authors under the contract with the Ministry of Economic Development and Industry of the Komi Republic on the basis of monitoring the competitive environment of business entities. The suggested model for assessing information interaction between authorities and business entities can be used for practical developments aimed at solving the problems of implementation and the order of interaction.
