Evolution of Currency Interventions Practice

Recently monetary regulators increasingly more actively manage their currencies exchange rates. By doing so monetary regulators conduct currency interventions often not so much for supporting national export competitive ability, as for maintaining of the economic and financial stability, and for curbing negative consequences of trans-border speculative capital flow, mitigating of total external debt management. In order to reach mentioned objects monetary regulators improve their currencies interventions practice and tools, more often use prudential regulation measures.
