Innovation Management: Developing the Motivation Mechanism Model for Innovative Activity at the Enterprise

The article is devoted to the analysis of modern foreign studies on the issues of innovation management and identified key areas for the study of motivation in Russian companies. The experience of innovative activity researches in foreign sources has been summarized, the analysis of the staff motives to innovative activities has been done in order to form the main directions for the study and develop the methodology for evaluation and monitoring of personnel motivation to innovative activity in Russian enterprises. 
The goal is to study some Russian researches and foreign experience in the study of motivation problems in innovative activity and to develop the new motivation mechanism model for innovation activity.
The present results can be used in the development and formulation of innovation activity management strategy at the enterprise level, as well as in the development of specific tools and programs to stimulate innovation. The results can be also used in the development of the courses «sociology of management», «personnel management», «personnel motivation».
New motivation mechanism for innovation activity that has been shown can be used for developing motivation programs of innovation activity.
