The article is devoted to a theoretical research of extremism in migration processes as socially dangerous phenomenon, as well as to the analysis of the Russian Federation migration policy in the context of counteraction to the extremism. It contains the reasoned justification that extremism in modern migration processes should be considered as an object of a political science research.
