The Russian Far East is a crossroad for potential shortest air-routes which connect many airports in America, South-East Asia, Oceania and Eurasia. Due to this fact transrussian, transcontinental and transpacific air communications develop rapidly. This article compares transport potential of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Magadan and other Far East airhubs with the help of building orthodromy in Google Earth Service. Kamchatka — America — East-Asian air corridor is inferior to Magadan — America — East-Asian air corridor in quantity of the airports located in the given zone. Kamchatka-Pacific-Eurasian air corridor is similar to Magadan-Pacific-Eurasian one, but not excel it. Kamchatka — America — East-Asian air supercorridor unlike the similar Magadan goes over the Ocean nearby North American and Kamchatka volcanoes as well as typhoons and in the area of Aleutian atmosphere minimum cloudiness and haziness. That is why this corridor is less safe for providing transit flights especially intermediate stops. Kamchatsky Krai is twice more populated than Magadan Oblast therefore Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky has more potential as a region. This leads to necessity of developing Elizovo airport as a huge region and alternate to Magadan aerodrome. Different shortest air-routes that connect many cities of America, South-East Asia, Oceania and Eurasia that include 2/3 of the world’s population cross in Magadan, which gives it advantages over other Russian Far East airports.
