The Development of Tourist-recreational Potential of the Republic of Crimea: New Challenges and Solutions

In this work the authors analyse natural-climatic and socio-economic potential of the Republic of Crimea to assess effective tourism and recreational activities on the basis of attracting existing balneological resources.Tha aim of this article is to provide recommendations for the development of separate administrative-territorial units within the region. Problems of development and functioning of the Crimea available, planned and recommended tourist and recreational complexes are discussed and recommendations about rational development of tourist, recreational and balneological resources of the region for the purpose of its complex development and all- year-round exploitation are given.
