Current Trends in US Demographics

The article analyses the current trends in US demographics. The demographic situation in the US is rapidly changing, it differs today even from the situation of 2010 when the last census was conducted. Understanding and evaluating those changes and the current situation in general is necessary for understanding the internal policies of the US government and state governments. The author examines the growing ethnic and racial diversity of the US, the changes in migration patterns, the still existing problems of segregation and the growing importance of the millenials in political and social life of the country.
