This paper examines the influence of systematization of portfolio of intellectual property rights (IPR) management system on the value of the company. This article provides a systematization of IPR object groups such as the rights and the validity period of the document on IPR protection. The paper also systematizes the criteria of abuse of IPR and violation of IPR that influence companies in the long run. Such factors as the elaboration of rights protection, identification of unprotected unique objects, commercialization and search for new markets are considered to be the most significant. Proposed improvements to the methods of IPR protection significantly reduce the fixed costs and increase the value of intangible assets.
