State Educational Policy Mechanisms

The article is devoted to the main mechanisms of the state educational policy. Special attention is paid to the influence of global trends on the state of national education, international mechanisms of influence on the formation of educational policy of the nation state. The author conducts a comparative analysis of functioning of these mechanisms in some countries of Europe and Latin America. The article presents and proves the hypothesis that, in many cases, national education systems are only components of the global market of educational services with its own laws of development, cooperation and competition, and every year an increasing number of national educational policies are influenced by global processes, reflecting the preferences and priorities of international organizations.
