In global economy, the importance of banking sector in developing countries, which have special characteristics different from those of developed countries, increases. Retail banking sector is of particular interest, since its development happens in an unfavorable external environment with such negative factors as, for example, a slowdown and general instability of the global economy or sanctions. Internally, the development of retail banking also faces many inherent problems, such as the dominant position of state banks and high competition. Retail banking demonstrates recovery after the crises of late 2014, but individual loans segment recovers comparatively slower than the deposit segment.

Keywords
