Analysis of the Activities of the Commissions on the Conflict of Interests and Corruption in the Public Administration

Based on the theoretical approach of comparative legal analysis and the experience of the Commission on settlement of conflicts of interests in the system of the Ministry of internal Affairs across the Omsk region, the authors identify the gaps in the legislation regarding the conflicts of interest and accountability. The authors develop recommendations aimed at increasing the effectiveness of anticorruption mechanisms in the public administration of the Omsk region and the criteria for the selection of experts for these committees.
