The article is a review of the “CEEISA–ISA 2016 Joint International Conference: Politics of International Relations” which took place on June 23–25 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The conference united more than 450 participants from 52 countries. Conference papers were presented on 109 different sessions. Approximately a quarter of all the sessions included papers on Russia-related topics.

The wide range of issues related to the dynamics and tendencies of the contemporary international relations were discussed at the conference. Speakers paid special attention to the role of strategic communication in the contemporary world, methods and tools of communication management.
