Images of European Countries in Ottoman Propaganda at the Beginning of World War I (On the Basis of the Newspaper “Embros”)

The paper focuses on the outlook of Constantinople Greek intellectuals during 2nd half of 1914 — 1st half of 1915, as expressed by a satiric newspaper “Empros”. The most important European political events and their participants were objects of political cartoons and caustic satire, contributing to the Ottoman propaganda campaign.
