Public Administration in Labor Productivity Improvement in the Fuel and Energy Industry in Russia

The process of creating high-performance jobs in the energy sector should include the parameters of efficiency of use of labor resources and take into account the international experience. A significant backlog of the Russian oil companies compared to the average global level of labor productivity indicates that Russian companies have not yet fully utilized the reserves that may influence the industrial and economic activities of the organization and its individual business sectors through staff productivity improvement. Thus, there is considerable potential for a further increases in labor productivity in Russian fuel and energy companies.

The article provides an overview of methodology, statistical data and policy practices, in Russia and other countries, aimed to promote the creation of high-performance jobs in energy companies.
