In the post-crisis conditions the need of modernization is especially significant, therefore economic efficiency of public administration should be considered as a significant factor in social and economic development. Increasing the productivity of public administration at the regional level requires the introduction of new elements of transactional mechanism of activity of executive authorities with simultaneous monitoring of its efficiency using modern informational technologies. The article suggest an approach to the formation of efficiency assessment system for regional administration, including a system of indicators, uniform for the regions having strong correlation with the main socio-economic indexes of territorial development. The authors use the method of analysis of initial correlations, which allowed to reveal analytical expression with high degree of narrowness of communication between indicators of social and economic development and efficiency of activity of regional executive authorities.
