Pragmalinguial Aspect of the Latest Appeal by President Mubarak to the Oppositional Movement of Egypt

The paper deals with Arab political text. The research is based on the latest appeal by President Hosni Mubarak to the citizens of Egypt, made immediately before his resignation from the post of the head of state. The author uses the approach of pragmatic linguistics. An attempt is made to identify the specific features of speech behavior of the President, to create his speech portrait.
