The article examines necessity of introduction of the modern technologies into the social management system in Ukraine. The author analyzes the legal position of modern informational technologies, a priority direction in social protection. Using the example of the city of Yalta the author proposes ways to improve the mechanisms of public administration in the social sphere with the help of electronic-consultative terminals. Social administration reform in Ukraine still faces several major challenges, primarily the lack of funding and the purely declarative nature of these changes.
