Economic Security of Business in the Context of Opposition to the Shadow Economy

The article studies the impact of shadow economy on economic security of a state or an enterprise. The dynamics of the integral indicators of Ukraine’s shadow economy and the loss ratio of enterprises are analyzed. The subject of the study includes all of building blocks of such a diverse phenomenon as shadow economy. The authors propose measures to counter the shadow economy: creating a unified system of taxation for business entities, increasing basic wages, reducing various types of allowance, bonuses and benefits.
