Since the 1990s., international academic and expert community has been increasingly involved in discussing and analyzing the phenomenon of globalization in the area of technological innovation. This reflected a major shift in global economic development, which still lacks a proper scientific interpretation. Innovative processes have evolved into a powerful factor of economic integration, and at the same time, into the engine of dynamic international competition. Research shows that nowadays the global scientific, technical and technological environment has been created, the most important structural elements of which are universities and research networks. Multinational companies play an important role in integration in the field of innovations, having extensive experience in creating and distributing innovative products to regional, national and global levels. Another key aspect of international integration in the area of innovations development is the creation and operation of international innovation networks.
