Sociocultural Approach: Stages of Formation and Basic Imperatives

In the XXIst century the problems of sociocultural approach grow increasingly important due to the growing role of culture in social progress and the growing significance of sociocultural motivation in general and personnel motivation in particular. The article explores the  genesis of sociocultural concept and its basic imperatives, analyzing a range of viewpoints and developing o chronology of its formation Sociocultural approach considers society a unity of culture and sociality, formed by the people’s activity. Sociological theory studies common factors of society, the interaction between an individual and a culture, and functioning and composition of the culture in connection with dynamics of social structure and development of social institutes in historical situations.
