Competencies in Modern Transnational Corporation Corporate Strategy

Modern knowledge-based global economy requires an adaptation of the existing transnational corporation models to current conditions. The demands of modern market dictate the necessity of a targeted approach to company management. The author examines the structure of competencies in modern transnational corporations, as well as the role of collegial and personal hugher management bodies. The author notes the distinction between the corporate strategy as a whole and the corporation’s subsidiaries’ strategies. The article explores the functionality of international divisions of corporations and its variation depending on the specific nature of the corporation’s activities.
