Evolutionary-institutional Approach to Forming an Agricultural Management Model

The authors develop an evolutionary approach to the resolution of the economical crisis in the agricultural sector of Russian economy, combining an evolutionary approach with the creation of institutional conditions for its natural evolution. The article examines the advantages of using an evolutionary approach to modern agricultural management. The authors propose and justify a chronology and concept of directed evolution, associated with nontraditional views on institutional reform. In conclusion, the authors sum up the specifics of current period of transformation of agricultural sector and assess the effectiveness of each stage of its modernization, as well as the duration of the transition and the estimated time until its shift to   sustainable development.
