Developing an Effective Training System in a Recruiting Agency

In recruiting agencies human capital is a key competitive advantage. Given the specifics of  recruitment business in Russia (e.g. high level of competition on recruitment market, high requirements of clients for recruiting agencies’ service standards, significant influence of  individual professionalism on the company’s efficiency and image)  personnel training, considered a human capital investment, should be the main area of recruiting agencies’ personnel policy.
The author suggests a variant of recruiting agency’ personnel training model, using systems and competency approaches.  Basied on the results of the survey conducted by the author, aimed at finding out inefficiencies in Russian recruiting agency’ training practice, the author developed a number of recommendations for improving the training system in a recruiting agency.
