Consolidation of Regions: Problems and Perspectives

The author investigates the process of regions’ consolidation in Russia. Difficulties arisen after consolidation of the Constituent Members of the Russian Federation, an attitude towards the consolidation and evaluation of consolidations’ results are described. The article considers what has been done in the new formed Constituent Members to solve the difficulties after the consolidation.
