The article analyzes the innovative system of Russia in the conditions of socio-economical and political transformations. The author attempts to define its main problems and proposes ways of solving them. The author sketches out the main trends in science and technology transformations in the USSR and in modern Russia and defines the main goals of modern Russian innovative system.
