A Historical Transformation of Informal Vertical Relations as a Factor of Employee Loyalty to the Organization

The article examines the transformation of the informal relations between a manager and an employee through several historical periods, from the Soviet era to present day. The author compares the relations during different periods, analyzes the basis of the relations and evaluates their role in maintaining the loyalty of the employees to the organization.
