Feminization of Politics as a Trend in Modern Global Development

Mikhail V. Medvedev

Graduate student, School of Public Administration, Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Since the beginning of the XX century, the number of female political leaders has increased dramatically. Possible reasons for the election of female leaders are: political and social crises, cultural predisposition for female leadership, the absence of strong and reliable male political leaders. Today the feminization of politics shows itself not only in the election of female leaders, but also in the radical changes in government management style and decision-making.

Keywords

Politics, feminization of politics, international community.
